Sales Coordinator

Job Summary
​The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities within the sales processes to maximize client satisfaction and support the outside Account Manager team.  The Sales Coordinator will support a consistent sales process for prioritizing opportunities, gathering supporting data for quoting, researching product and manufacturer details, and routing/following up as necessary in accordance to sales department and client expectations.

Our high level of training offers a much deeper understanding of our products and the equipment we service.  We combine on the job training with office-based, factory, and industry training to ensure that our technicians are the experts in our field.  

Essential Functions:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator consist of but are not limited to:
  • Assist with all aspects of the sales process, and with follow up activities, as delegated.
  • Support the sales team as a super-user within the CRM and ERP system, supporting a paperless environment.
  • Oversee the sales-related data within the AIM/Asset Management tracking software to support sales team and clients. Troubleshoot inconsistencies.  
  • Maintain technician lead generation process to ensure leads and opportunities are routed in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with in-bound sales calls, client set up, referrals, and website leads.
  • Build and maintain product details and descriptions in ERP to assist with quote generation.  Research and investigate vendor pricing. 
  • Support marketing activities, campaigns, and new business development initiatives.
  • Support Account Managers and service department in various client-related projects, information gathering, service coordination activities and other duties as necessary. 
  • Create executive summaries and collateral with Account Managers to assist in sales process & as hand-off for case study creation.
  • Ensure clear communication between departments that will benefit client relationships (be easy to do business with).

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of related customer service support, sales or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with client direct B2B industrial sales with a proven record of success.
  • Experience with Office 365: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, enterprise resource program (ERP) MailChimp and CRM software.
  • Experience in an EOS/Traction environment is helpful but not required.

  •  Follow standard operating practices to support a busy, growing sales department.
  • Engage with operations, administrative and service departments to support client’s needs.
  • Responsive, organized follow-up and client support. 
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as a strong support resource.
  • Accurate data entry and process in CRM, ERP and AIM systems.
  • Timely reporting and data entry.
  • Ensure D&DT client experience is exemplary.
  • Partner with D&DT employees to ensure internal efficiencies and collaboration.
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners, exhibiting a commitment to D&DT's core values and mission.
