Management Team
Jay Anderson founded Dock & Door Tec in 2006 and has grown the company every year since its inception. Starting in the industry as an Apprentice Service Technician in 1993, he advanced to an Account Representative and then Operations Manager prior to founding Dock & Door Tec. His diverse background and wide range of experiences created the foundation for a "service-focused" company. He enjoys meeting new people and helping them solve their facility problems, a passion he has passed down to his entire team. As an IDEA Accredited Technician and Dealer he maintains a higher standard than most and works to exceed that whenever possible. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, CrossFit (for both fitness and competition), playing dodgeball, obstacle course racing and biking.

Jaci Dukowitz joined Dock & Door Tec in 2022 as Integrator and Vice President. She was in manufacturing for 10 years in progressively responsible roles, lastly as Chief Operating Officer in a privately owned company. Jaci was responsible for leading the entire suite of business operations during the company’s extensive growth. Additionally, Jaci has held executive and HR roles in distribution, transportation, nonprofit and IT industries and spent 5 years as an adjunct business instructor. She was named Emerging Leader at the 2017 Minnesota Business Manufacturing Awards and was an Honoree in the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal 2018 Women in Business list and is on the Board of the Minnesota Precision Machining Association.
Jaci holds her SPHR and SHRM-CSP certifications, an undergraduate degree in HR Management, a master’s degree in Organizational Management and the ABD (all but dissertation) designation in Strategic Organizational Management PhD…but probably won’t ever finish it because she hates doing research! Along with her husband and two sons, Jaci enjoys spending free time in the outdoors at their lake home. |
Eric Ekman, a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in material handling, serves as the Operations Manager. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in various aspects of the loading dock business. Eric initially started as an installer, specializing in loading docks and related equipment, before transitioning to sales for a period of time. Eventually, he found his calling on the operations side of the business. After spending a significant portion of his career with a competitor, Eric made the decision to embark on a new chapter. The change was prompted by the acquisition of his former company. Motivated by his extensive expertise in the industry, he joined D&DT, a place that aligns perfectly with his passion and knowledge. Eric also appreciates that D&DT values its employees and clients, emphasizing unparalleled service and ethical business practices.
Eric enjoys time with his wife and two active boys. During the spring and fall seasons, their time is occupied with racing dirt bikes and mountain biking. When winter arrives, they ski, snowmobile, and play basketball together. |
Brett Korinek, our esteemed Sales Manager, brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous role overseeing the residential garage door division for a renowned national contractor. This background seamlessly translated into the commercial industry, as Brett had already mastered the art of working with deadlines and collaborating with multiple decision-makers. In his current capacity, he spearheads the strategic direction of his team, ensuring that they consistently deliver exceptional results. What sets Brett apart is his genuine passion for helping clients overcome challenges. Renowned for his problem-solving prowess, he forms strong partnerships with his clients. Al West, Lead Service Technician, has demonstrated exceptional expertise, remarkable leadership skills, and an unwavering commitment to prioritizing client satisfaction. These qualities propelled him to his current role. Drawing from his background in metal fabrication, he has seamlessly integrated his ingenuity and problem-solving ability into his role with our organization. Al is a relentless learner, consistently seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and eagerly immersing himself in the intricacies of various equipment. His passion for fostering strong client relationships has become contagious, inspiring our team of service technicians to embrace the same spirit. Al holds certifications as an authorized service technician from CHI and Dynaco.

Sales Team
Rick Hopkins has done it all here at Dock & Door Tec. He has served as service manager, scheduler, office manager, purchaser, and finally his permanent role as an Account Manager for the north metro, north eastern MN, and north western WI. As a retired US Navy recruiter he brings the discipline, problem solving, and attention to detail needed to succeed in providing out of the box solutions for his clients. When not at work, you will find him hunting or fishing with his son and daughter.

Don Frein brings over 40 years of experience in the material handling industry and warehouse industry. He has done everything from service technician for warehouse equipment to sales of material handling equipment. Many of our clients in south east MN and south west WI are familiar with Don from his career prior to us. He holds 5 sales achievement awards from the Unicarrier Material Handling company. His passion for helping clients solve their problems really shines through. In his free time he works in his shop and hangs out with his grand kids. He also owns a small campground in Waterville, MN and spends many weekends there.

John Swanson came to us after a previous career as a sales representative and planner for a major event company in the Twin Cities. He has the problem solving skills and hustle that is needed in our demanding industry. Finding solutions and meeting our diverse clientele are what he enjoys most about our industry. He has attended factory training on Nordock levelers and truck restraints. His territory includes the south west metro and southwestern MN. He spends his free time with his two young sons and two dogs – anything outside will do. He is an avid outdoorsman and really likes kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, soccer and hiking.

Brian Blanchette has 9+ years in the packaging and warehouse industry. Brian takes pride in listening to client needs and bringing the best solution to the table aligning with the ultimate goal of a client. Brian looks forward to reaching out to maintain connections with some of his previous clients and creating new partnerships along the way. When Brian is not at work he enjoys time with his wife and two boys. Personal hobbies are DIY projects around the house, barbequing, and live music.

Marc LeBlanc developed a successful sales career working for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation, AstraZeneca and most recently 17 years with Lube-Tech. He shares his diverse industry experience with our clients and is always eager to learn and help them solve their facility challenges. Marc strives to add value with every interaction. When Marc isn’t helping clients, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and family, attending summer festivals and being outdoors. In the Fall, you'll find him immersed in the Wisconsin whitetail deer hunting seasons.

His proven track record of building lasting relationships and delivering results makes him a pivotal asset to our organization. His passion for identifying innovative solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to provide top-tier services to our valued clients. Outside the office, Jon enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Anne, and their children. During the summer months, you'll likely find him on the golf course or out boating.

Previously as a Sales Support Specialist in the citronella candles and garden torches industry, Emily's attention to detail and dedication to customer needs were instrumental in delivering outstanding solutions. Beyond her professional achievements, Emily enjoys traveling to new places. When she's not exploring, she's cherishing quality time with her husband and her lovable golden doodle companion, Juniper.
